The rent increase guideline for 2023 in a mobile park is 1%. This means that the rent can be increased from $1,000 to $1,010. In order for a landlord to increase the rent in a land-lease community, they would need to provide the tenant with 3 months of proper written notice.
Resolving Issues About Rent Increase
In a case where the tenant wants to object to the landlords’ rent increase, they would have to file for a review within 30 business days of receiving the notice to dispute the increase. The tenant has to complete the Application for Dispute Resolution to the Residential Tenancies Office.
