How does Interac work with Rent Collection?

You’ll now be able to get your rent payment on the same day or within 1 business day.

Here’s how it works:

Interac sends an email request 

Interac e-Transfer will send your tenant an email asking them to pay their rent for the month. The tenant must then approve the e-transfer request.

Rent goes directly to you

Once your tenant completes the transfer through Interac, you’ll receive their rent payment via direct deposit in your account (same as currently) on the same business day.
